The new CG FC200 ecu programmer is capable of reading the original data of Mercedes Benz 272 with hybrid engine ECU and then write into a new same ECU on Bench.

Here is a Mercedes Benz 272 engine ECU with hybrid engine not gasoline engine, car can’t start. The client don’t want to repair it, but want to clone the data to a new 272 engine ECU.
Okay, we use CG FC200 to firstly clone the original data of Mercedes 272 engine ECU.
Connect CG FC200 device to the computer.
Open CG FC200 software, select “Mercedes Benz”, then “350 4MATIC M272 272”, it shows “Bosch ME17.7 TC1796”.
Choose “Wiring diagram” from the menu, then there is a clear wiring diagram to connect the cable between CG FC200 and Mercedes 272 engine ECU.
Caution: if the wire is connected incorrectly, it will burn the engine or lost data.
Next is to read the data.
So, click on “Indentify” to check if the wire is connected correctly, alright it says connects successfully, mean the wire is connected rightly, you can see it shows the serial number and hardware ID.
Click on “Read DFlash”, this file is only 128KB and can be read out in a second, after read successfully, save it.
Then “Read PFlash”, this file is 4MB and it takes 2-3 minutes, after read successfully, save it.
Okay, read out successfully the original data from the old Benz 272 engine ECU.
Disconnect the wire from the old Benz 272 engine ECU.
The car owner wanna replace a new Benz 272 engine.
So, next is to clone the original data to the new ECU and install back the car to test.
Instead the new ECU, here we find out the ECU box removed from the car, before cloning the original data to this ECU.
Firstly read the data and backup:
- Enter the same option ” Bosch ME17.7 TC1796″;
- Click on “Identify”;
- Click on “Read DFlash” and save;
- Click on “Read PFlash” and save;
- Click on “Write DFlash” (it will prompt this operation will overwrite the original data), then select the backup data to write.
- Click on “Write PFlash”, it will take a longer time, wait until CG FC200 prompts PFlash data is written successfully.
Finally, install the new ECU onto the car and to test.
Okay, the new engine ECU is installed back to the car
We test if the car can start, alright the speed is normal, perfectly.
