OBDSTAR MS80 diagnostic tool has been tested a bunch of motorcycles, Snowmobile, ATV, UTV. Today we use MS80 to connect one 2015 BMW R1200 & one 2018 BMW S1000R, it can access to all electronic control systems and perfectly read vehicle information, read / erase fault codes, read data stream, active test and special functions.
Besides, OBDSTAR MS80 is a plug-and-play tablet, the whole process will be very easy by following the on-screen operation guide, and the touch screen is smart and quick.
Part 1. OBDSTAR MS80 Scan 2015 BMW R1200 All Systems
Main Operation Guide:
- Use OBDSTAR MS80 to connect the diagnostic socket of this Motor via M040 cable.
- Turn on ignition of R1200 and OBDSTAR MS80 will turn on automatically. Tap “DP” then “Agree” the claim, then “Moto Diag”.
- Tap “Europe” -> “BMW” -> BMW V30.02 -> “Auto Identify (VIN)” or “Select from vehicle”, usually select the first option. Soon, it will successfully read out the VIN.
- Enter all of the following systems one by one: ENG, ABS, TPMS, Alarm, Clip-Special Settings, Chassis management system, Instrument Panel, Service system, Suspension.

Part 2. OBDSTAR MS80 Scan 2018 BMW S1000R All Systems
Main Operation Guide:
- Connect OBDSTAR MS80 to the OBD2 port of 2018 BMW S1000R Motorbike (located under the seat).
- Turn on the ignition of the Motor and the tablet will start automatically.
- Tap “DP” – > Moto Diag -> Europe -> BMW -> BMW V30.02.
- Enter all of the following systems one by one: ENG, ABS, TPMS, Alarm, Clip-Special Settings, Chassis management system, Instrument Panel, Service system, Suspension.
