PSA Diagbox V7 V8 V9 Released Notes – What’s NEW in each version?

·         Provision of the side panel (see instructions).

·         BiMarques: double RRDI.

·         Reworking of Update CPA Fault Reading: to make navigation between the Expert mode and the guided mode more fluid, the fault reading on the “Expert” tab will no longer entail restarting of the session in guided mode. The information message “The content of the global test has been modified, the session must be restarted…” no longer appears. NB: The refreshing of the ‘Diagnostics’ tab after restarting the TG on the ‘Expert’ tab is normal and necessary.

·         Addition of Romanian among the tool’s choice of languages.

·         Associated contexts help EDC17C10: displaying of text specific to the associated variables of a given ECU.

·         Development ADEE DIAG-COM-12-004 Ind E : The ADEE has two functions, local processing of the data memorised by the Spy software and storing of the unprocessed data on a remote PSA server. The local processing permits use of this memorised data and displaying for the technician of one or two possible causes of discharging of the battery. Above all, it make it possible to determine certain causes of discharging of the battery which cannot be reproduced in the workshop or which are no longer present during the diagnostics.

·         Addition of the RT6 Telematic ECU for the Peugeot 807 and Citroën C8 vehicles. » Addition of the RD5 ECU for the Citroën DS5, DS4, C4 II vehicles.

·         Manual selection of the vehicle and filtering of the regularly used vehicles

Update 7.21 includes improvements and corrections, notably:

·         The addition of the DCM6.2 engine ECU for the Peugeot 508, Citroën C4 Picasso and Citroën DS5 vehicles.

·         A new function which appears during automatic configuration for certain ECUs . Following a successful automatic configuration, a new screen appears displaying the ECU parameter values which were modified during the operation.

·         Reworking of the “Oscilloscope Graphics MMI” with optimisation of the screen space of the “reference graphs” and “oscilloscope” functions and improvement of the functions of the oscilloscope function

·         The MultiDiag Tool category is added in EmailDiag

·         Improvement of the information banner in EmailDiag for improved visibility and legibility of the messages .

·         The help messages on the automatic configuration Before/After screen (filter activated/deactivated) are no longer inverted if the parameters are modified.

·         If the VIN field on the configuration screen is cleared, it is no longer possible to start the configuration of this latter by clicking on the gears.

·         When configuring the servicing schedule, it is once more possible to move the cursor.

·         When the oscilloscope signal is paused, the help screen now presents translated sentences and the dictionary can be used.

·         The “Adaptor MMI” icon on the bottom banner no longer disappears when the cursor is placed over it.

·         During the test of the recording of faults on the vehicle, the problem of filling of the CPA has been corrected.

·         In the Expert mode in Russian, the error message no longer appears on attempting to access the Expert mode on a B0 model after having selected the engine ECU.

·         On the Portal :

– The automatic detection in Russian no longer stops at the 3rd step.

– The keyboard short cut linked with the automatic detection works after having clicked on the “Documentation” tab then returned to the “Home” tab.

– The photos of the vehicle variants appear and change when the cursor is placed over the associated button.

·         The VIN inputting pop-up contains a “cancel” button . Therefore, the user can go back and is no longer obliged to enter a VIN.

·         On the Configuration/Parameters/”Service point information” category menu, after having entered the service point information the “E-mail” field is completed with the value entered previously.

·         Opening of the point of entry for the Citroën Berlingo Electric.

·         Addition of diagnostics of the Euro6 TI MUX Pump, of the PEF maintenance and of the Diesel Additive System maintenance for the following vehicles : DS3, DS5.

·         An “End my session” button is added to the supervisor . This ends the vehicle session at any stage of use of the tool with a single click without having to change screen.

Update 7.30 includes improvements and corrections, notably:

·         enlargement of the information banner and of the characters in the messages as well as the addition of a button to display all messages.

·         integration of the 3 air conditioning assessment charts Chart 208 2008 Europe, charts M3M4 and generic charts.

·         addition of two technical actions necessary for downloading to the ECU VD46 : Power latch (request to cut off communication with the ECU), Software reset (automatic restarting of the communication with the ECU).

Update 7.31 includes corrections, notably:

·         in the VIN input field, the letter “A” is no longer considered a keyboard shortcut.

·         the display is now adapted to a resolution higher than 1024×768, so preventing the disappearance of the vehicle photos.

·         the supervisor zone dedicated to the “Thread” messages is no longer reduced and permits viewing of the scrolling of the messages.

·         Systematic addition of the Faults Log trace in the Emaildiag if the Faults Log is read (Faults Log report box cannot be “unticked”).

·         Opening in Diagbox of the DS5 LS vehicle point of entry.

·         Opening in DiagBox of the DV6F engine for the DS5.

·         Addition of the deactivation/activation of the tyre under-inflation detection on the DS5 China.

Update 7.34 includes corrections, notably:

·         A correction concerning the installation of the USB Box as an accessory for all vehicles.

·         A correction concerning the procedure for replacement of the drive machine on hybrid vehicles.

·         Opening in DiagBox of the Stolen Vehicle Locating Unit for the Jumper 2.
