I have succeeded to use OEM Orange 5 programmer to read EEPROM MC9S12DP512 (Motorola, Freescale). Hope it helps somebody out.
my MC9S12DP512 is in the list:
First share the oem-orange5-programming-chip-list.pdf
I used:
Orange 5 eeprom programmer (mine is clone from China)
Flux
Tools for desolder and solder
Then did something to read MC9S12DP512:
Remove the paint
MC9S12DP512 VPV 4LOOM
Put some flux around the chip
I used Flux type: RMS-223
Desolder the microcontroller
Solder the adapter
Put the adapter firmly on the adapter socket on Orange5 mux
Note: now, Orange 5 is connected to the PC
Open Orange5 software
Click Read FSEC
Click Read ID
Click R icon to read EEPROM MC9S12DP512
Again, click R icon to read FLASH MC9S12DP512
Read EEPROM MC9S12DP512 with Orange5 success!
