INPA K+DCAN USB Interface Tested on BMW E36 EWS

Recently, INPA K+DCAN cable factory tested their two types they produced.

Tested vehicle:
BMW E36 1999
BMW 3 Series E36
Procedure:
Connect INPA interface with the vehicle and the laptop.

Open INPA on the laptop.

INPA starts with the screen:

Here press F2 for E36.

Select Body and then Electronic vehicle immobilization EWS.

Pressing F2 shows the EWS Ident screen:

Pressing F3 shows the EWS Code screen:

Pressing F4 shows the EWS Error menu:

Pressing F1 reads the error menu and shows the EWS Error Report:

Press F10 to return to the EWS menu.

Pressing F5 shows the EWS Status menu:

Pressing F1 shows the Internal Status screen:

Key is sending will toggle if you remove the key from the ignition.

Pressing F2 shows the Input Status screen:

Pressing F3 shows the Actual Key (act.key) Status screen:

You can watch the key being read and the status boxes change when it is recognised.

Pressing F4 shows the ISN Number Password (ISN PW) Status screen:

Pressing F5 shows the Key Data Status screen: TBC

Pressing F6 shows the Service Data Status screen: TBC

Press F10 to return to the EWS menu.
