There are several BMW ICOM software HDD available in obdii365.com. Which one should you choose to match with your BMW ICOM A2+B+C diagnostic and programming tool hardware (if you get the ICOM hardware without software or you need to update your ICOM software HDD)?

Item No: SS130 series
2014 ICOM ISTA-D 3.42.40 ISTA-P52.2002 Software HDD FOR BMW with Engineers Programming software
BMW ICOM HDD with item number SS130 series are 2014 normal/common versions with engineering and developing software (INPA, EDIABAS, WinKFP etc). Software with these item numbers should be applied to BMW ICOM hardware item number SP168-B, SP168-BA, SP101-B.
For example, Item No SS130-12 and SS130-12SP is the December, 2014 (2014.12) version ICOM HDD. The different is that SS130-12 supports English, German, Chinese, Korean and Russian while SS130-SP covers more languages.

SS147 software HDD is the newest version 2015.03 HDD. It can be update online by yourself which means you DO NOT need to buy the new version ICOM software to run an upgrade. 2015.03 BMW ICOM hdd has no laptop brand limitation as well. But it has requirement for the hardware configuration of laptop.

2014.06 ICOM HDD only works with BMW ICOM SP101-B and SP168-B. It’s an external HDD, so it also has no requirement for the laptop brand. But your laptop must be better quality since you need to install the software on virtual machine.

2015 ICOM ISTA-D 3.46.30 ISTA-P 3.54.1.001 for BMW Win8 System
Item SS151-1, SS151-1S are the 2015.01 version HDD, the different is the language. SS151-1 supports Chinese, English, German and Russian while SS151-FR covers more language including Spanish, French, Portuguese, Dutch, Greek, Swedish, Japanese and Thai.
Item No SS151-A1, SS151-A1S are the perfect version 2015.01 version HDD with solid state disk with 256 GB SSD support Win 8. The difference between them is the language.
