MB DAS Offline programming has been strict ruled begin from DAS 01.2010, but now the DAS offline programming is available in OBDII365.
DAS Offline programming compatible MB Star Diagnostic multiplexers:
MB SD Connect C4, Super MB Star C3, MB Star C3 and MB Compact C4

How to do MB Star Diagnosis DAS offline programming?
Equipment:
MB STAR Diagnostic system (SDS) with printer
Fax device
The instruction can be divided into two parts:
A. Determine vehicle date from offline SCN coding from the vehicle
The vehicle data is used to create the fax form for ordering the SCN coding data through the Star Diagnostic Help Desk.
1) Select control unit in Diagnosis Assistance System (DAS).
2) Select menu item “control unit adaptations” or “initial startup”.
3) Select menu item “SCN coding”-> “F3”.
4) Select “Offline (STAR DIAGNOSIS device not-networked)”-> “F3”
5) Confirm note on sequence of SCN coding with “F2”
6) Completely fill out fax form and click “F11” to print out
If an email address is entered in the fax form, you will be sent the SCN coding data per email. If a fax number is entered in the fax form, you will be sent the SCN coding data per fax.
7) Send printed out fax form to the given fax no for the Star Diagnostic Help Disk
B. Perform SCN coding
The coding is performed with the SCN coding data from the Star Diagnostic Help Desk
8) Select “Step 2: Perform SCN coding” option in DAS program->F3
9) Hit “F11” to print out the order log and enclose the repair order
The order log can also be stored on the DAS. This is done by clicking on “F11”, “Print to file”, selecting “printout of test step” and entering a file name. In StarUtilities, the StarPad program can be used to display and printout the order log at the “Logs” menu item.
10) Select keyboard input using “F4”.
11) Insert CD or connect USB removable storage device
12) Enter SCN coding data manually into the DAS.
13) Hit “F3” to confirm and import the data per CD or USB
14) Removable storage device.
15) Perform SCN coding.
16) Switch ignition on/off.
17) Continue with “F2”.
