How to solve GM MDI E4150 communication error?

One of the GM MDI users came across E4150 error. Let’s go straight to the problem and solution.

Problem:

Install GM MDI software version 8.0.73.14 on Dell 360 win XP SP3 operating system with all anti-virus software off, connect GM MDI with USB and WIFI, when the SWDL program screen show up tech 1 or tech 2 options, the windows show up E4150 error after select tech 2 button (Shown as the picture below)

Solution:

After make sure your GM MDI diagnostic interface well connected with PC and successfully install drivers, download Tech2Win and Bin Files in a well-known forum
http://mhhauto.com/Thread-Newest-GM-NAO-Software. Install Tech2Win and open it. Select Modify, save and restart bin file, choose CUSTOM after complete installation, then follow by the window prompts.

Note:
If the bin file is broken, you should uninstall the old version Tech2Win. Download new Tech2Win, select tech2, select Modify, choose CUSTOM, open Tech2Win and choose correct com port.
