Carprog ECU chip tuning tool has newly released to the latest version V6.8. Following are some tips guide for purchasing the unit.
Tip 1:
Carprog V6.8 comes with full 21 adapters. But they can also be sold separately. If you damage the adapter you can buy them separately. If the main unit is damaged, you can buy Carprog unit instead.
Tip 2:
No CD needed when install the new software. Download software to your PC and open it. It can be used directly. The Carprog comes with the software activated. (If not have been activated, dongle is required)
Tip 3:
Carprog is designed for car radios, odometers, dashboards, immobilizers repair including advanced functions like EEPROM and microcontroller programmer, key transponder programmer, air bag reset etc function. (It can not support change KM function)
Tip 4:
If you had bought old version V4.1, you can send back to the factory to update to the new version, but have to pay USD150 for the update. (better to get a new one)
Tip 5: V6.8 is the software version not hardware version.
